Welcome to PDFSync. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the PDFSync website and PDF editor, operated by [Your registered business name] ("PDFSync", "we", "us"). By accessing or using PDFSync you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Use of the service

• You must be at least [18] years old to create an account or make a purchase.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate and current information when you register and pay.
• You must not use PDFSync for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

2. Acceptable use

You must not upload, edit or store files that are illegal, infringe someone else's rights, or contain malware. You must not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to the service, or use it to harass others. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the PDFs and other content you upload. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to provide the service to you (for example, saving and reopening your projects). You are responsible for having the right to use the files you upload.

4. Plans, free trial and pricing

• Free trial: new accounts receive a free 30-day trial of Premium, starting when you verify your email address.
• Premium: a one-time payment of US$15 that gives you Premium for 4 months (about US$3.75 a month). Premium does not renew automatically.
• Currency: all payments are charged in US dollars (USD). Any Sri Lankan rupee amount shown on our website is an approximate guide only; the final amount on your statement depends on your bank's exchange rate and any fees your bank charges.
• When your trial or Premium ends: you can still sign in and use the editing tools, but you will not be able to open or save projects until you buy Premium again. Your saved projects are not deleted when your plan ends.
• Prices and plan features may change. Changes will not affect Premium you have already paid for until it ends.
• Any promotion or discount is valid for a limited time and may have additional terms.

5. Orders and payments

• By purchasing Premium you offer to buy 4 months of Premium access, which starts once payment is confirmed. If you buy again while Premium is still active, the new 4 months are added after your current end date.
• Payments are processed by PayHere. You agree to provide valid payment details and authorize the charge of the stated price, including any applicable taxes.
• We do not store or have access to your full card or bank details.
• We may refuse or cancel an order because of pricing errors, suspected fraud or technical problems; in that case any amount charged will be refunded.

6. Delivery

PDFSync is a digital service. Premium access is activated on your account electronically, normally within minutes of payment confirmation. No physical goods are shipped.

7. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The PDFSync name, logo, design, software and website content belong to [Your registered business name] or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or resell any part of the service without our written permission.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep PDFSync available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or discontinue features at any time. Please keep your own copies of important files.

10. Limitation of liability

• PDFSync is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service.
• Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using PDFSync at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms or misuse the service. Refunds on termination are handled under the Refund Policy.

12. Privacy

How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction over any dispute.

14. Amendments

We may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date, and continued use of PDFSync means you accept the changes.
